Matt Laffan Memorial Scholarship Public Appeal

As you've come to this page, you already know how much of an inspirational person Matt Laffan was.

In a tribute to Matt, his college mates are proposing a perpetual scholarship in Matt's name.

In Matt's words "St John's was the place that firmly set in place the cornerstone of my future."

It's our hope that this scholarship will support and inspire many more gifted people in the future who face some of the challenges Matt overcame, and hopefully St. John's will provide the same launching pad for them to go on and do big things like Matt did.

With this scholarship, the name "Matt Laffan" will still be resonating within the halls of St. John's for many future generations, long after we've all gone.

Please consider giving generously to such a worthwhile cause in the name of such an unforgettable man.

Name :	The 'Matt Laffan Memorial Scholarship' (St. John's College within the University of Sydney)
Criteria :	University students with a serious physical disability who possess a strength of character, drive and leadership potential. Possible preference given to law students.
Value of funding :	Depends on the amount raised, however it's hoped to be equal to 50% of their college fees.
